Our Mission
Acts 2 Impact connects churches, organizations and advocates to one another and discovers ways they are uniquely equipped to strengthen children and families before, during and beyond foster care.
Not Enough...
Too often, throughout West Michigan, we hear the words “not enough”
Not enough resources...
Not enough support...
Not enough families...
But it doesn't have to be this way
Thankfully, many churches, organizations and advocates realize we can do more when we work together. We believe all of us can gather around a shared vision of more than enough for children and families before, during and beyond foster care.
Together we can provide more than enough:
Help for biological families trying to stabilize and reunify
Foster & kinship families for every child to have an ideal placement
Adoptive families for every child who is waiting
Wrap around support for families and agency workers
Filling the Gaps
To reach this vision, churches and organizations throughout West Michigan are coming together to launch Acts 2 Impact, a network committed to filling the biggest gaps for children and families right where we live. We are collaborating to:
Provide practical needs and support for biological families trying to stabilize and reunify
Recruit foster families and encourage them on their journey
Equip adoptive parents to support the youth joining their families
Mobilize care teams, dedicated to providing wrap around support to families and agency workers who need it
